Barta: Yes i think i souldnt have put "the" in front of "other" in my post...but i can see the misunderstaning that i have caused. I think too fast...so much so that when typing i add/forget to add some words which i should.
I was refering to rgp games other than Larian's...morrowind......for e.g
I think that in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> Larian captured the essence of rgp games and from the screenshot for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> 2 it looks like they are entering the next stage of improving that image. I mean its very similar to <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> but has a slightly "lighter"...more welcoming feel to it...heck i think if i had a painting which is similar to that screenshot...i would have filled my house with those piantings.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
Close up im sure objects and the such may look odd...perfection doesnt exist.....but if your looking so close then in the end you may need glassess....i should know my eyesight is terrible.
