It annoys me how the wild boar can chase me across a whole map (if I don't just kill it, for some such reason as low level...) and never bothers to attack the passing orc. Sometimes they clash, yeah, but once I'm in sight, it's all mine!

I'd like them to be more like
'hunters': Take the easy targets.
'warriors': Take out those with most power, if known to them.
Or specific mission related targets.

Another thing:
Mana drain should cause actual drain on a monster mana pool (that might regenerate with time). So should spellcasting. It should be possible to empty an enemy's mana pool.
(And they could gain mana by draining you)

I mentioned a ban list for types of creatures you do not want to attack in a post. Another way of preventing undesirable attacks/talks (I have had problems with trying to go places where crowds force me to talk instead of walk) is to have a non-interaction toggle. With non-interaction, all mouse clicks would target the ground, with the purpose of walking. Regardless of what is there.

Also... A wounded enemy, he might flee. I'd appreciate that. Makes it seem more real. Ok, brave orcs don't run, but still.

What else? There was something. I know. I'll remember.

EDIT: REMEMBERED! When orcs come chasing after you, you can WALK away! And if you have the stamina, you can outrun them. Why don't they run after you? And could group AI's be set to not only chase you and attack the moment you're within reach (which allows you to slip away), but to hold their attacks until they can surround you properly? I know this would help the enemy, but... I'd feel a lot less ridiculous that way. As it is, I find myself walking across the battlefield with a comet tail of fifty orcs walking after me.

Healing, blessing:
I want the ability to heal / bless allies, and give equipment to them with the suggestion that they wear it. The two first are more important.

At least, I want /somebody/ to be able to do it. Maybe there could be a healer you could ask to follow you to help the people in one location. If he demanded pay, well - some would pay out of their own, based on wealth and damage, others would need you to cover it. Covering somebody's doctor bill, that's a sure way to improve your relationship!

Can't you cast Restoration on summoned or resurrected creatures? I recall someone mentioning casting Spell Shield and Aura of Guarding on them.

I had the patch on and i couldnt cast restoration on an ally. The other auras yes...maybe its just me.

About the orcs...the reason you can run away from them i think is that some of them are particularly powerful...heavy orcs and the war drummers can be a handful in the begining...so can the elite/giant orcs later on.

There are a few creatures that you can resurrect and cast Aura of Command on which do not die if you sleep. Maybe that was where I got the idea they could be healed?
