Well, I'm going out to the woods with my class, where we will get extremelly wet because it'll rain, and extremelly cold due to the same reason.It will be fun I hope.

Well, I know I'm not suppsoed to be back until tomorrow, but...

It DID start rain, and since I'm not the only person in my class who don't enjoy walking around with mud up my knees, we all decided (apart from some very brave or very stupid classmates) to go home instead.

Yesterday was great though. I even conversated with my classmates a little <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />. It all started with the walk to the camp where we were supposed to stay (and sleep and all that). Since someone (still quite unclear whose fault it was. I blame the guys with the map) took a wrong turn somewere we didn't walk on the main route, but in the swamp next to it. When we got out of it we all had wet feet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />. But apart from that it was kind of fun (espessially whineing about walking through a swamp and haveing wet feet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />). Then we got to the camp, and the first thing you did was get your gear down to the camp (most of it had been driven there by car), then we changed socks and shoes (I changed to wellingtons, since I didn't have any other shoes to change to). Then we chilled for a while. You know, cheking the camp out, noticing that the guys who ran the camp hadn't left any wood (which they said they would <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />)(for the record, we needed wood for campfires), called them and complained, foud out that they'd left some freshlly cut down trees. We found the trees and noticed (by looking at them) that they were way to fresh for wood. So one of the nearby living girls went to fetch some (by car). Then we chilled for a while. One of my classmates acually got that fresh wood to catch fire, so then we had a campfire to sit around. So we sat around that. Someone had a guitarr and played some tunes on that one. He couldn't comp others though, so I couldn't sing anything <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />. Myself I know five chords on guitarr. I could acually play the chords to pictures of you (three cords). You think I said that? No?
Anyway, when the good wood arrived we brought the hot dogs and breads and then we started eating. And all talked (but me, I kept a low profile). Then it started to rain slowly, so we all entered a big tent which the girls had rigged up while I was chilling <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />. Then we played Mafia. That was fun, I can expalin it later, and check if someone is interested to join.
After that it was quite late. So we went to bed. I slept in the tent (with a root in the middle of my spine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />), and when I wake up (round 9 pm (is it?)) it was pouring down. We all thought "damn, we can't do much in this weather", packed our things, called our parents, and went home. And that's it.

What is Mafia?

Sorry, I left for school after the first post, so I only heard you wanted a rock AFTER I come back <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />...

Mafia is played like this:

First you appoint two mafia, one doctor and one sheriff. The rest is farmers. You have no clue from the start what anyone but you is. Then it's night. First mafia appoits a victim. Then the doctor gives protection to someone (preferrablly himself in the beginning, looseing the doctor is NOT good for the farmers). And last, the sherrif checks someone (and the teller sais whenever he's mafia or not). Then it's day.

First, the victim is announced. And unless the doctor protected him, he died, and is no longer in the game. Then the speculations begin. This is when eveyone can say basiclly anything (for the sherrif to anounce he's the sherrif is kind of foolish though...), and if anyone thinks someone is a mafia, he can call for a vote on this person (only one vote/round). But this only happens when there is clear suspects on that person. If if there is more that vote for than against, he is executed, with the same result as with murder (doctor can't protect at day). Then there's night, with the same procedur as last night. When there's more mafia than farmers (sherrif and doctor counted as farmers), they win. When all mafia is dead, they loose. Simple really, and allso fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />. Might be difficult to play with all the non-europeans with different timescedule though.

Hey, we have a version of this game here too, but it's about werewolves and witch/shaman instead of mafia and doctor. And we have a few more different characters too. The great point of this game is that it can be played by all age groups without losing of its fun. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
