Who is the funnest or easist to start the game with?

I'm a pretty slow starter, since my first post I havent gotten too far in the game. This is for a number of reasons. Foremost is having a 2 year old makes it tough to dedicate a lot of time to a game until they absolutely wipe you out and you are exhausted <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> On top of that I like to try things out and get a feel for things before I start for good. I tinkered a little bit with all 3 classes to see which I want to try first, and I think I might go with a warrior. Just wondering who you all thought was the best / funnest to play.

So far the game reminds me a lot of my old Diablo2 days, which brings some fun memories to mind. Much more depth and character interaction though, which is really great.

The easiest character to play is probably the warrior. As for the most fun, it depends on your playing style.

Archer is the easiest I think. Keeps a safe distance to the enemy, and early on you do quite a lot of dmg too (for an early character that is...).

Imho putting one point early into Wisdom, thus getting more experience from deeds.

There is only one mental attribute to put points in:
Intelligence.

The wisdom thing is from Torment.
At least, that's the only place I ever saw it.

You saw it there too?

There is a Wisdom skill, that gives an experience bonus (maxing the skill can result in one extra level by the end of the game). see;
Wisdom - is it worth the skill points?

As a warrior I only ever put one skill point into Intelligence, and that was for cosmetic reasons. Equipment bonuses to Intelligence and mana gave me more than enough magic points.

Alrik means the wisdom skill..it gives you more exp wen yu kill any creature.

Id say the mage is easist....when i had killed the necro at the bottom of the dungeon...i easily picked off all the other strong types....skeleton guardian etc.i dont now if poeple realise this but when you get surronded by all those skeletons for killing the necromacer...there are still some strong types remaning on the edge of the walls..you have to actualy seek them out...if you run and mardanues comes and saves you...thats that..they dont appear if you return again.

Ttragic, the only problem for me was that I ran out of mana all the time, next problem was that I ran out of potions all the time. Mages are annoying...

Yay, you've played Torment <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />! Anyway, the wistom attribute is acually from D&D (Probablly others too, but in the Torment case it's D&D. D&D=Dungeons & Dragons in case you didn't know <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />).

I personally think that the warrior is the easiest in the long term to use. You may have a hard time at the beginning fighting one on one with the guys who do monster damage, but later the game becomes a breeze. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
