I hope that your reflexions are going well? And that you have a sufficient delay to take a serene decision? I know what you mean, losing someone while you're away; I lost a dear friend from cancer while I went away too. Although we know that life goes on and that death is part of it, that we should not let it rule our decisions, it leaves with a staining sadness that we weren't there with him/her and that the fact that we were away has prevented us to enjoy the last moments we could have spent with them. But the fact it happened once doesn't mean it will happen twice... I hope you'll be happy whatever your decision you'll take. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" />

It shocks me that people saw you being hit by a car and did nothing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> Is that a common thing, or you were just very bad lucky in the people surrounding you at that time?
Anyway I hope you had nothing bad to that leg; when you get a blow like that (or a fracture, strain, whatever) puting ice on it as soon as possible (better less than 20 minutes after the injury) it reduces the swelling and the blue/black color that will appear and thus helps to "reduce" a bit of damage. In addition to lower the pain, of course.
