A trick for those who may encounter this kind of situation: Tomato juice doessn't work to get rid of the smell; the best is to use a solution of hydrogen peroxyd 3% + sodium bicarbonate + liquid soap (just to make it lather). Diluted vanilla essence is very good too; I used both.
