Reading Ubereil's posts i don't think he is unhappy (except the weather problem).
I think Ub likes to stay at home playing games on his computer or listening music or chatting in the forum.
I think he doesn't really want to meet people or to have a lot of friends.
I think he feels different from other people but it's untrue a lot of people are just like him.

Pretty accurate . I do like to spend time on my own, but meeting friends at least once in a while would be nice. I acually miss not haveing firends . And when I didn't have you to talk to I wasn't happy at all .

And it's meeting new pepole I don't like to do. And as said, a few friends would be nice.

@ Drag: I am shy, and therefore not very socially skilled (it's not only the shyness, my shyness has allso made me avoid training my social skills). Otherwise I'm pretty much like you, problems talking to strangers, can't see them in the eyes really (training on it).

I ran into a guy from my class (or acually, he ran into me) at EB-games today. We don't talk much (I don't talk much to anyone in my class). We both have the Math-computers focus on our natur sience, so we have kind of the same subjects (a few differs). He asked me what I was looking for (I was looking for Fate btw, couldn't find it) and we started talking about RPGs in general (we both play RPGs). It was acually kind of a normal talk. I believe it is as you say, find someone with common interests and talking goes easilly. It's allso more likelly you can become friends if you have common interests.

And about being HSP, I'm not sure. It seems the HSP is really aware of his surroundings, and I don't think I am (more the other way around). What I would really like is a better description of what a HSP is than you can find on that site. Wikipedia wasn't much help .

And just noticed:

Ub i guess you should move in Italy as soon as possible.

The problem is I don't know anyone in Italy, and not knowing anyone at all wouldn't work, so then I would have to get to know a bunch of new pepole, and I wouldn't like that (besides, Silvio Berlusconi is president there, he's even whorse than GB ).

[color:"pink"] You have indicated that 15 of the items are true of you.

Scoring:
If you answered more than fourteen of the questions as true of yourself, you are probably highly sensitive. But no psychological test is so accurate that an individual should base his or her life on it. We psychologists try to develop good questions, then decide on the cut off based on the average response.

If fewer questions are true of you, but extremely true, that might also justify calling you highly sensitive [/color]

well that's what i got for the test. i am a bit too sensitive, i think, especially living in such insensitive community. but then again, i am not so into socialising so i won't miss any of the community thing, whatever that is.

@ Al -> actually when u are too free, u will also be overwhelmed by your sensitivity because u may try (either consciously or not) to pick things up with your senses & ..... . well people would say that's thinking too much.

@ Fille -> i agree with Stone, we may look like gadget dudes but we know what we want so once we have it, we'll be happy with those devices till the end of those devices' lifespan. newer isn't necessarily better.

@ Barta -> u're right about the weather affecting people's mood/disposition. my aunt who's new to winter weather got very depressed till spring came with sunshine.

Good News : Was able to aquire a book I was hunting almost the whole month !

Bad news : I had walked too much. (I think 10 km at least ! ) I felt overexhausted, at a dangerous limit ... I must be more careful with my body and my self.

@Stone & janggut
I didn't mean it that way, needing to always have the latest stuff. Few people can afford it anyway. I was talking about the interest.
I love to check gadgets, techno, new inventions & stuff like that though I hardly ever buy, unless it's really useful or needed (as most of said gadgets might end up being more a pain to carry than a use). So the only way to know that I'm interested in it is to talk about it with me, since it doesn't show on/around me.

Bad news: there was/is the firsts snowstorms across the province today

Bad news: We will be disconnected next monday, so we could get connected in our new home. There was a three weeks waitinglist at the internet provider. It was this monday or somewhere at the end of november
Now I will not get online for a little more then a week. I will miss you guys!!!
*sheer up Gal, it's only one week, this will be over soon!*

Good news: National strike tomorrow, allthough I will be the only one at work, I will have peace and quiet during the whole day

Bad news: I've promised myself (and my projectleader) to resurrect my projectwork, so I'll have to do some schoolwork .

But still !!!

Bad news: Dameontools and anti-blaxx don't work together . Fortunantelly I foind a guide on how to fix it. It was 23 steps, and like ten of them were reboots, and the other 13 was about removeing files in the oddest of places (system32 was the most normal one). It took loads of time, and all just to fix a trifle...
Good News: Everything is working like a charm now !

No, I didn't understood that...

My computer is working just fine now anyway. FIFA 06 is still as anoying as it used to be (there are loads of things you would like to do, but can't do, like some decent finnishing, passes to teammates and not opponents etc).

I am siding with mea about the system format...... Yip... digging in stuff that you have NO idea how it affects windows....

I have a saying about when you do things like that..... its a bit graphical.... and best in Afrikaans....

"Jy krap met 'n klein stokkie in a groot leeu se gat"
Direct translation.....
"You are fiddling with a small twig in a big lion's [nocando]"

Good news: THe day is finally over.... and supper is just about ready
Bad news: My petrol tank is empty... which means i need to tae the time to fill it up

Good news: i had a good ending to a days hard work
Bad news: tomorrow is another day.

Thanks janggut for caring too

Bad news: I had a hectic busy time. In fact, it's not over but I'm disgusted so I skip it all for a bit et advienne que pourra.
Good news: it's nice to see you all, guys.
