Good news: I just bought a new netork cable. That's at least decnt news. At leaqst not totally bad news. Erm...

Bad News: Tried to plug it directlly into our brodband modem (and not into the router, thus avoiding the firewall, and maybe be able to get battle.net to work porperlly and allso be able to use DC and not that slow piratebay...) but after that I couldn't get contact with internet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />. It seems I get my connection from a LAN, which seems to be directed through the router, and not the internet... Now I'm curious on how to change that... By the way Lady Rain, I hope you recover from that flu. Real soon...

Ok, if you have your username and password, you can use the broadband modem as a regular modem (with all the speed benefits), but it still works as a "dialup" in the sense that you have to click "connect" etc....

Plug it in directly to the modem... and create a new internet connection...


chose connect to internet... (1st option)
set up my connection manually (2nd option)
connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password (2nd option)
Type in the ISP name
Type in username and passwords
click finish and see if it connects

The router is set up with your username and password already... so it automatically connects on your behalf... with the modem you have to connect the old fasioned way...

I am abusing the fact that i grow peppermint and echinacea in my herb garden..... add a little ginger, turmeric, and blackwallnut-drops.... so far so good.... still very blocked nose, but no more fever or feeling bad <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Was on a Schooling trade fair today. Left after getting some broshures of different tecnical universities. Too crowded, and too many pepole I don't know. I allmost feel like a sociopath...

I love being around lots of people.... BUT.... i HATe it when people get closer than 1.5 m from me....

Guess who hates xmas shopping... just because of the crowds.

I don't mind crowds as long you can move freely without pushing poeple away to reach where you want to go.

I prefer calm bar above a crowded one even if the ambiance is over there.

X-mass shopping? I go to the closest supermarket and buy a box of chokolate each for everyone in my family <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />. I'm terrible of thinking out presents <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />...

And I might be hypersensitive (maybe, still want a "real" definition of it), but I still have no clue on what to do with it (So, I'm hypersensitive. Weha... What's for supper?).

Bad news: My father in law is gonna get his first radiation tomorrow, and that for six months, twice a week. I hope he gets throught it, he is almost 70, but has lost his fighting spirit, if he ever had that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
But there is still good news: I'm almost back for good! Still brainstorming about how and where to set up the computers. See you soon!!!
