I just remember a name of a village that layed before a bit bigger town ... I saw it 1986 and its name was "L'Arivée" (with or withourt 2 r). I interpreted it back then as "we have arrived !" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
