I do not HAVE children yet.... but i am raising one... Hubby's kid.
HE sort of survived the speech.... but with promises of doom if he EVER gets a report like that again...
Hmm had that problem with my Dad once (some centuries ago <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> )
And his solution was IF I was able to increase my grades by X then I would receive an electric train set.
You know it worked .... and I can still see my Dad's face when I showed him the report card ....Hah!! he was happy and sad all at the same time ....happy cause I got the grades and sad that he had to spent an large amount of (for those days anyway) money on a new train set <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
