and your highschool gradepoint average are a major factor
they might also look at what classes you took

although you can take a different route by going to a community college and transfer

Remains of my day:

Nice relaxed day... nothing went really wrong.... had a couple of interesting server errors, that had equally interesting work-arounds (like mysterious email volumes, when no emails exists, but all that got fixed)... No traffic... boss wasnt concerned that i was 10 minutes late, considering that my first callout could only be started an hour later in any case.

Got home..... and THEN my day turned even more interesting.... but lets first review hubby's day....

1. The builder thats currently finishing the tiling in the flat, stuffed up, and cost him a fair amount of money.... by using very expensive shower grouting, on the bedroom floor, which he naturally ran out of half way through.... so now he has to come back to redo it all.... (and we need to buy grouting again)....

2. Car accident.... Drives into the back of a fairly new C55 Merc.... (The driver stopped again, after pulling off in a slipway.

3. He gets upset at the builder that by this time still hasnt finished 9 square metres of tiling (in 5 hours time - with no tiles needed to be cut) and punches a steel cabinet..... and breaks his finger!!!!!

(this is when i get home)

4. His suppliers hasnt delivered most of his stock yet that he needs to open a shop with on wed...

Interesting????

Lets hope it doesnt get better....

It hasnt snowed in these parts of SA in 22 years....... so this is something very very out of the ordinary. (the only parts that get snow is the higher mountains.... like the drakensberg and sneeuberge, the rest of the country just never get any...



and thats in 1 DAY!!

I am far away from the affected areas.... but some family members are not.... and the flooding knocked out communications... so we hoping to hear from them...

aah well I feel better already ... I mean after seeing you L_R <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> and they might sell sherry and whatnot in 2Ltr flagons .... but I don't drink <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

And all that weather stuff is easily explained. since our little world goes in an "elliptical" orbit around the Sun ... eventually we had to end up with some parts of the world getting turned around somewhat, so in the UK they are having really hot days and places like us they are having really cold and wet days *brr!* but in some time it will get back to normal <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I leave the actual reckoning of that to the brains on this forum, my quantum mechanics ain't that crash hot anymore <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

thinking of a friend & how she is coping with the situation of her dad in critical condition. i pray that her father may have smooth passage & all the loved ones are coping well.

as for the remains of the day, i heard from this friend of mine that her father has passed away. very sad for her. at least she is grateful that he did not suffer much pain before he left this world. she & her family are coping well right now.

May he rest in peace Jang. Just remember that death is only another step in life, he will return in a next life <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hug.gif" alt="" />

Also positive : His suffering has an end. At last.

I can't tell who died, but, yes, death is just changing one suit of clothes for another.
