First of all, hi everyboy & greets from Serbia & Montenegro.
I'll try to b short.I'm searchin' for a game which I played a long time ago on some console if I remember (sega, nes..).Anyway game is 2d based, some sort of an RPG evolving main character (some greek hero I guess) in mythologycal quests throughout the game. For example: visit zeus, kill hydra, travel to crete & deal with minotaur etc.And screen is not moving horizontally (as in Battle of Olypmus for example) and like in some other stupid games.
It's more like a one-mapped game with traveling & completing quests for gods if I recall well. Many times I tried to search but without result so far.I dunno how to explain it better but IF SOMEONE has any clues or guesses which GAME it may be --> I'll be glad to search (to bad I can't describe screenshots which r still in my memory ).
Once again I repeat, it's an old some-sort-of-an-rpg-quest-2d game.
/edit: My mistake, it seems that it has 3d elements (i've seen a few of the same type games and they all put "3d" in front of genre, screen moves in all directions & 3d i suppose )

Nevertheles, I great everyone of you here & I think I posted in the right place.
REGARDS, Alexander

Wellcome to the forum .

Well, since I started playing RPG's when 16-bit consoles where hopeleslly uot of date, I havn't played many of these. All I know of old-time Rpg's are: Wizardry, Might and Magic, and Ultima (don't know if these were PC only. Or if they're the games you seek. Don't think it's wizardry though). Apart from that, well... Let's get the old-timers at it . Who knows, maybe I'll learn something...

So far I've been without any result.Few times I thought I found that game, but no luck;If I knew the game's name - my problems would be solved at start.
However, no.It's not Wizardry, M&M and none of the Ultima series.[sad_face]I've searched so many times...but I need some hints or clues definitely.[/sad_face]

How old? Hmm if I recall I think I played it about 5-7 years ago & I'm 90% sure I played it either on Sega or (S)NES and I remember it supported 2 player mode.

Golden Axe Quest?
Well, so far I've played Golden Axe I, II many times.I mean the original "Golden Axe", haven't heard of any other one.(So)If it's the one with Conan & Red Sonya - then no.It's not that game.
(And in Golden Axe screen moves from left to right horizontaly while playin').

Just a guess. I have no idea from console games but the hero you mentioned is Hercules. Try to find a title with this name in it. Or something with Olympus, or mythology. Sorry I am not a big help.

Golden Axe Quest was overhead style. It was the Sega Megadrive's competitor to The Legend of Zelda.
