A french gamer has a problem with the Larian easter egg.
He wears the silver breastplate.
He has the 5 beers from Rimmer, the 4 ropes near the portal stone and exactely 2002 gold pieces in his inventory but he can't reach the easter egg area.
What would be the problem ? A bug ?

Ask him to try with the silver armour in his inventory. Check for extra alcohol, gold or rope; a few people had problems with stuff hiding behind a chest (or the portable bed, etc) in their inventory.

My first answer was :
[color:"orange"] Tu peux éventuellement vider complétement ton inventaite et ne conserver que l'or, les bières et les cordes.
Tu peux reprendre une ancienne sauvegarde et réessayer cette quête.[/color]
You can make your inventory empty and just keep the gold pieces, the beers and the ropes.
You can also load an old save game and play again this quest.

Now i am going to tell him to put the silver armour in the inventory and to be careful with stuff which can hide other important things in his inventory.

Emptying out the inventory of non-essential items will work (keep a weapon, equipped armour and maybe some potions), though just checking for extra stuff should be sufficient if that is the problem.
For the rope, get him to check how many there are. A couple people already had rope in their inventory when they picked up the 4 pieces there, which stacked together so was difficult to spot. The 4 rope should be in 3 groups (2 stacked together, 2 alone).

Finally after emptying out his inventory the french player could reach the easter egg area and get the larian armour quest.
