Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Lord Seth's sword

I read somewhere that Brightsblade is dropped by Seth. Do I have to kill him for him to drop it or do I get it by doing a some sort of a quest? If I have to get it by killing him, where can I find him after he leaves the gates in Aleroth. Is it worth the effort to get the sword?

If you want to get brightblade you have to kill Seth. It's not a quest.
You have to kill Seth before he leaves the gates in Aleroth.
After solving the quest "Escort for the healers", Seth disappears.


The stats of the sword are random. You can get a good sword or a not really good one.
