Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Teleporters not working

I got both of my teleporters but when i drop one then go somewhere else then press drop and use it just say "apparently the teleporters arn't working now" and that really pisses me off and i need them because i didn't get the dragon shield when i was in stormfist castle so i need them to get in please tell me anything if you know anything.

This is how they work:
Drop one somewhere.
When wanting it back, click on the one in your inventory, you'll get teleported to the other one. So you only have to drop one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I have only seen the "they don't work" message when I have both, or none in my inventory.

Double check and make sure you didn't drop both of them. (also verify that you did infact drop one)

You "should" be able to just click on the one in your inventory and be transported to the one you dropped wherever it is.

But, the drop and use should work as well.

If you did not bring at least one teleporter into the castle, the imp would not have shown up then to 'borrow' them. In that case, he may show up the next time you try to use them, or they may simply stop working until the point you would have gotten them back (talking to the imp again in the council hall).

If this is not the case, try dropping both on the ground somewhere, and see if you can click on them to teleport back and forth.
