if there weren't prostitutes , there would be much more rapes out there for sure.

it is the one thing that can change a intelligent human into a reaving beast.
Sexual impulses can "override" your basic thoughts and doings... And when that happens , it's always dangerous for sexual harrasments...
And about the animals, you don't think raping occurs in the animal world?
