speaking about cats, yes, that much is true when the male cat feels that the litter of kittens sin't his then he will kill them off. sad but true.

I'd hate for her or anyone else to feel their contributions were unwelcome, though, and the impression I got from reading her last post - wrongly or otherwise - was very much that she felt her views were not being respected.
