Cleglaw's Prediction
To begin with you will think it is a great game. You will finish the SP mode with 1 or maybe 2 different party configurations. Boredom will creep in. You will realize that the game makes your parties too easy to control. You will tire of the poor AI of the monsters. You will realize item classification system leaves something to be desired. You will yearn for more RPG than the game gives.
The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?
