Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Arhu wont show up!

Hey there =)

Just talked to Janus and he told me to go find his white cat.
After spending about one hour searching for the cat, I gave up.
Read some walktroughs and they all said that the cat would show
up south of Janus room. I spent some time running back and forth
from where the cat is supposed to be, and Janus room. I´ve also
tried talking to Janus again about the cat, but that didnt do
any good either.

What to do???? Greatful for any hints or tips.

Arhu should come out when you head south from Janus's room and go near the kitchen...the screen should become a full one then.

Im sorry to say but, that does just not happen.
Seems like I need to start all over again, since
Im a: "Ohh.. thats looks dangerous, better save"
and only keeps one (1) savefile =(

Is this a known bug or is it just me?
Played the game once before, and I cant
remember any problems then. (Patched)

I have never heard of this problem beofre. It might be just you.

Before entering the castle by invitation, did you toss a teleporter stone past the guards to get in and talk to Janus? If so, that will break the quest to find the cat, and you will need to start over (since you can not reload a save before entering and talking to Janus for the first time).

If that wasn't it, did you try going back and talking to Janus, and then heading south towards the kitchen?

I think its good when you save games often but you also need to save many saved games. i learnt the hard way when i played <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />

Try one last thing...go back into Janus room go south and turn right(or left??)..away from the kitchen.

Tried all tricks and tips but that cat is a goooner.
Hehe, I also played Beyond and only made one savefile
there as well... Imagine how many times I started that
one over!!

Well, at least its a fun game. Only thing really bothers
me and that is that I had already cleaned the whole orc
camp up and got some really neat stuff. Ahhh well, time
for some action again =)

Well you could start off as a new character i mean a different class..it may be fun..i started off as a fighter had to delete all files(computer problem) but i got a real feel to it...now when i start playing again i will choose a different one.( But then again i finished the game previously whereas you may not have)
