Have you ever set up a camp some where before like chests for your special items so you don't have to carry them around or even made walls with packages i use the huge packages and i have made 2 camps both really cool one in orc village and one right above al magicana (or what ever the towns called) and so you know the best thing to do is put your teleporter pyramid beside not on!!! the teleport that is by mages and set a camp up around it!!!

Ars Magicana is a relatively popular base. If you you want an actual building to take over, the cursed abbey is large and has its own teleporter pad.
I had chests upstairs and down in Joram's house, then later moved my home base to the council hall (screenshot 32KB), to take advantage of the health/mana shrines while they still worked, as well as the additional room.

Holy crap that is alot of chests. I took over the house you can buy in Verdistis. the teleporter pad was kind of close by, but it had to load every time I wanted to leave the town.

I described how I had stuff organized in the topic Houses And their owners. The council hall and Verdistis are part of the same area, so I got the same loading delay between base and either Rivertown or the Dark Forest.

Verdistis map

The house that you can buy (or rent) is south west of the park, just west of the healer's house, on the north. You must first restore Maria's reputation to get the house, by finding evidence against Malcolm.

There are a couple pieces of Dragon armour in Verdistis. The belt you can find in the house west of the doctor's house, on the south. Once the Dwarven king tells you where the breastplate is and you speak to Sir Patrick, the quest he sends you on take you to the house just north east of his estate.

I'm what some people may call, a 'pack-rat' because I keep waaaay more than I need.
When I set up base, I kept anything that had a chance of being useful ("better keep this shield because it might help me against certain enemies, more than my better sheild") even though I would almost never use such items.
I'd also keep anything I thought looked particularily cool (and for me, thats alot).
Then anything with a free skill (a few spells for a warrior if I feel like havin' fun with 'em ).
And, of course, any chest I couldn't open yet... I actually had at least as much as you did Raze, believe it or not.
Pretty bad huh? Yea, 'setting up camp' sure is fun.
