Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems I have graphic problemas: Black squares all around

HI, I intalled DD and i have:

-Windows Xp professional
-Directx 9
-DD last version
-Celeron procesor
-SIS video card



When i start playing, the character and all the objects are sourrounded by black squares, i some dark rooms i cant see anything, here is a screen of it


I dont know what to do, plz help me

It's look like that your graphic card doesn't support direct x 8 (or only parts from it). Switch to the software mode (with the config tool) and then should this graphic problems go away.

This problem is actually mentioned in the readme file;
