@ Übs "The ugly duckling" was also one of mine favo's of H.C.Andersen. In his tales there is a ground of truth in all of them. If you like more of his tales read this. I really loved "the little mermaid".
@ Janggut There is this one particular Indonesian tale about a princess, some demons and if I'm correct, two or three men that are in love with that princess. But I think most of those tales have princesses and demons in them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Did anyone heard of the stories of Jean de la Fontaine? They also have a moral in each of them.
