The merchant's stock doesnt become very special unfortunately....
you dont need a skill for charming weapons.
If the weapon has a charm value, click on it (while its equiped). It will open a small new window, ignore the crossed out pictures (a lot of DD players get confused because it seems unavailable), and drag the charms onto the crossed out holes.
lockpick is working with patch 1.47 installed. The reason you have to increase it to level 4 or above, is that most locked items gets a level. You need above that level to unlock it. The further you go in the acts the higher levels that containers have.
