Int is incredibly useful in PS:T whatever you are playing, because it opens up a ton of dialogue options - which in turn can lead to a whole lot more EXP, and get you out of some very nasty situations.
There is no stat that is not useful, in fact. The trick ts to customise your character to suit your style of play.
