Lady Rain, a have a few friends who are like u as well - after locking the car doors & walking towards the office, they would second-guess themselves & return to check.

i think i used to have one of those disorders like your counting the poles as u drive. it's walking alongside the road while 'avoiding' the car wheels. as cars pass along, i would make my steps in such a way that my feet will not be parallel to the car wheels. i would even make small hops if i had to. another would be walking on tiles, which i would make sure i step on unbroken ones (not related to superstition).

another one of my weirdness will be to always 'clean up' people's computers - tweaking the OS & BIOS, update the antivirus & stuff, etc. now i can control that one already.
