i got a question: when you take the sword out the stone(wherever its located) a monster starts to eliminate the nearby town, right? well, if you use the magic mirror or the duplicating trick and you copy the sword, cant you just keep one of them and put the other back in the stone to stop the killing? i dont know how good the sword is, but it must be pretty powerfull, if it is able to unleash a monster.

Yep you can use the duplicating trick and keep one of the 2 swords, there is no problem at all.
I don't think that the magic mirror could work for the sword.

The stats of the sword are randomly generated.
You have to save the game before getting the sword and to try several times.
When you get a very good sword you can duplicate it.

using the mirror on the sword would be cool i have never thought about that, but I also think that it won't work and to make sure i will try it tonight!!!!!

you can't use the mirror to copy the sword, i just remember that i once duplicated the mirror for easy copying, but it only worked on the healingstone.
how stupid

Guess what i have found a way to stop killing and have sword!!!!!!!!!!!

i guess this is kindda a spoiler so....

#1Spoiler : Take the sword from the stone and then kill the ghost but only if you can HINT:freeze him then quicksave right away(Ctrl S) and the duplicated the sword but when you do drop the sword on the ground and not in your inventory. once this is done put the sword on you in the stone as fast as possible!!!!!!!!! and then ghost is gone and sword is on the ground!!! so pick the thing up and its yours

#2 Spoiler : Quicksave with the item in your inventory. grab an item from your inventory and while still holding it hit Ctrl L. The game will load and you will have the item with your cursor and then drop it where there is no X for it to drop on the ground or drop it on a X for it to go into your inventory or just drop it on your inventory icon!!! you can dup anything you want (money, statues, NOT THE PYRAMIDS, charms, and even potions!!! weapons and armor is not recommended to duplicate!!!!!

Have lots of fun with the above stuff (hit Ctrl A to read this message)
