@ Übs
You know you can drag your icons wherever you like, right? And if you can't place them very straight, you can rightclick on your desktop and choose the first option "arrange icons" and then choose "name", "points", "type" or arrange them with a "trellis" (had to look it up in my dictionary)
I hope I could help you with this?

I can do that, but is there a way to ie place icons on the right side of the desctop, and still have them arranged in straight rows?

I'm currently using the wallpaper "our valued clients" from the official Wallace & Gromit page. I like it.

@ Nero -> that's a very nice one, u can more of such but of actual pix taken by Hubble telescope in Space.com, i think.

@ Spick -> Carrie's ava! ..... i miss her.

@ Draggy -> very good colour composition, that photo.

@ Ube -> if u want to show off your desktop as much as possible why not hide all the icons? i do that for my home PC. with my winamp set at 60% opacity (of course has to be with a cool looking skin), the feel is just sublime.

Yup just drag them to the place you want them and then use the arrange Icons

Right click on your destop and in "reorganise icons" make sure that you unchecked "automatic arrangement" (something like that) and checked "align to the grid"; that way you'll be able to move them around where you want and they'll always be in straight rows & lines.

Upon getting Windowsblinds, there were a couple that really caught my eye right away.

I really liked this one. Fire good...

I found that this one is really well done and emotional. Mystic even. I liked it but I'm not really using it. Just keeping it around. Mostly because my friends and bros would beat me seeing a 'girly' picture as my desktop wallpaper.
