Heh talking about being introduced to RPG, my first was a P&P "Rolemaster" Campaign, and let me tell you that system is deadly, my shadow mage was casting the soon to be (but unknown yet) new party member saw me casting, being a typical combat tank he acted first and thought after, which meant he chopped 1 of my hands off, and I promptly died of a D critical hit by spurting main artery blood all over the place and was dead after exactly 5 minutes into the game
Beginner's luck !
The first (and only) time I played pen and paper RPG (or classical RPG) was last summer (not this year, but last year) with my brother and some of his friends. They were testing this new system (the 'Buffy the Vampire slayer' system), and allso introduced some new players (it turned out to be me alone ). The only noteable things that happened was that a) I got my jock too much int. I put 2 in int, then the 'jock' trait brought a -1 to all int checks, so that extra one in int was watded anyway (otherwise I was kind of happy with my sadistic quarterback. Apart from being pretty new to roleplaying in RL)
and that b) I acually enjoyed it (thought I would). The problem is that playing with a bunch of 5-10 years older friends of my brother who has played for 10 years isn't really... what I would start with. And unfortunantlly I am clueless on where to start otherwise .
