A desert hornet will use a scorpion as its prey. It will fly around it, the scorpion will try to defent itself, than the hornet will zoom in and lay its eggs in the scorpion's body. Later, the eggs will hatch, and the scorpion will be eaten alive from the inside out by the baby hornets (or was it wasps <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> ).
When mating season comes, the female praying mantis is quite pecular. You see, the female will attracte the male causing him to come over. Than, she will decapitate him, eat his head, then lay her eggs in a sac next to his corpse which she will guard for a while. When the babies hatch, they have daddy to feast upon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> So cute! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
