The Swastika was used even by Romans. Here in Cologne there is a floor mosaique of a roman house that has it.
The Swastika has two forms : One left-turned, and one right-turned. I read that the Nazis used the "evil" form of it.
The Pantagram is said to be an ancient symbol of protection, but I can't verify that (actually I don't want to).
I don't know much about such symbols.
I thought one meant life and the other universe? The Nazi's used the symbol of the universe as a symbol of unity.
