I always think it's great to have a 'safe' area. Like when you drop a pyramid in Aleroth for instance: you can be in a fierce battle in the Dark Forest, yet when it's time to lick your wounds a quick click on your pyramid transports you to safety and you're greeted by the music (a wind of Aleroth), Mardaneus if you need the healing and Kitty who follows you around town.
