You know what really grinds my gears? Ash Ketchum.
With all his pokemons...
The thing is, he's supposed to become the best 'trainer' in the world and he don't even know what the simplest pokemons are!
And his dumb friends and him just repeat the thing's name again and again like its fascinating... I saw my youngest sibling watching a new episode of the show and here's a little scenario that went on:
Ash: Whats that? *flips out his pokedexe*
Pokedexe: Pidgey, the small bird pokemon.
Misty: Wow! A pidgey! Those are really rare!
Ash: Oh boy! I can't wait to catch one!
FYI, pidgey's are not rare and they've seen one on many an occation.
They do that for all kinds of things they've already seen. It's maddening.
You know what?
This is what I would do if I was the pokedexe:
Ash: Whats that? *Flips me out*
Me: OMG its a fugging pikachu. You know... like the first damn pokemon you ever got. The one sitting on your effing head.
Misty: Wow! A pikachu! Those are really rare!
Me: Did you not hear me?
Ash: Oh boy! A pikachu! I can't wait to catch one!
Me: ... You... you're kidding right?... This is a joke, right?
Ash: <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" />
Me: Uhg... Do I have a self-destruct button?
Ash: Let's catch it! Go pikachu! Weaken the pikachu enough so I can catch it!
Me: Ah here it is... 1183949532.
KURBOOM! You see what I mean. Its disgusting at this point.
So what I have to say to the pokemon characters is:
Grow a damn brain!
You already have or have already seen that dang pokemon and you shouldn't be fascinated by its preasance!
Get rid of Ash!
Get rid of Ash!
Pokemon is old.
Think of something new!
Even the littlest of kids are getting bored of it!
Stick with the RPGs and none els!
