Yes. I was just walking round. And I do have the patch installed.
And I had already done the "Exiled Spider" quest when the crash happend.
On startup the game switches to 640x480 for the intro video, and then to the specified game resolution, so might have been part of it. That's reassuring because I
was worried where the 640 x 480 had come from !!
The Boot Menu change was temporary. Only happened that once - after the second crash.
[I didn't touch anything .... It righted itself .... Wouldn't know how to change anything like that anyway <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />]
I've played another huge chunk of the game since the crash without any other problems whatsoever occurring so I feel a bit better now and am putting the crash down to being one of those "one off snaggles in the works".
