If you are talking about Diablo II than yes. The way to do it is to copy your whole game folder, name the copy as something else, than when you install the patch it will only be on the one that is named normally.
I did this so I could play patch v.1.09d and 1.11 at the same time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
If you need more details (I dont think theres much more tho) just say so.
Killerzzz
Yes, I'm talking about D2. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
I want to try 1.11 but I can't just give up 1.09d. I hate a lot of changes Blizzard made on the game (Melee chars are nerfed; casters are way too overpowered; etc). Besides I have a lot of high level chars in 1.09, which will become obsolete when converted into 1.10/1.11.
And yes I'd love the details, please. Like where to copy the folder, etc (step-to-step instructions would be nice) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Thank you...thank you...thank you....
