You don't need those three orcs for anything. I believe they turn hostile as soon as they notice you. I never saw them when they were friendly, but remember someone else posting about this, and apparently (IIRC) there is a chest near where they are standing.
The transformed human (or possibly lying orc) does not show up again, so it does not make much difference if you let him go or kill him.
