Help. Can someone please tell me how to kill the boss skeleton conjurer. He is the only baddie in the catacombs I have to kill. I keep running out of lifeforce and only have a spear. I keep buying more life force and it runs out too damn quick. Please please please can someone help me. Please e-mail me on juless1965@yahoo.co.uk

You should be able to beat this monster. Have you killed all other undead on the other floors of the catacombs? Or have you done some quests in Aleroth? If not: do so. You level up quickly at this point in the game. It sounds to me like you're just not strong enough yet.

I suggest you look here for some tips that make the life of a new adventurer in Aleroth a lot easier!

I assume your talking about the red conjourer at the fifth level of the catcombs, in on of the chambers accessed through the tiles. Yeah he's pretty tought to beat at this point. But if you want the goodies laying around heres what you can do: just have him chase you around to the opposite corner from the goodies. Then just run to the goodies (he wont catch up to you) the pause. Hold your mouse over the items, unpause click on it to get it, then pause agaain, and follow the same procedure. It might be necessary to do this a few times, but after doing it twice or three times you should get them all. Leave the big guy for later kill.

Although, he is possible to beat at this early stage.

You shouldn't have a problem, but yes, you can always come back later.

Another idea is to use a Scorpion Trap - you get experience, your enemies are killed fast and nothing to worry about. I know that at this stage theres not a big chance to get one but upgrade the trap skill. You can buy some of these traps from Tingalf in the Marketplace later on. Anyway, you can kill the skeleton just b raising some lvls.

It all comes down to gaining a few levels, which is easily achieved.

Once you get to level 4..you can start by wondering around aleroth..you should be able to level up a bit more quickly.

Then go back down and finish them off!!

i think i will have the same problem. i am now on level 5, but i had several problems with the skeletonlords and sceletonmasters in catacomb lvl 3. i am now at the beginning of catacombs lvl 4, and i hope i will get another level up until catacomb lvl 5...

i still have only 27 on strength and 20 on speed, so i can't use any of the axes i have found, that's another prob, because i only have a very little handaxe which causes only 10 damage points....

It's quite normal to have relatively bad equipment in the beginning of the game, don't worry about that. If you really are unable to get anywhere, exit Aleroth and kill some orcs. You'll level up quickly! Oh and don't forget to run to Seth if the orcs threaten to overwhelm you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

so now i have finished the catacombs...was easy, because when all the big skeletons came, i ran around and tried to destroy them. after i died a few times, i looked to get out of the room and stand right in front of the door to destroy them one by one. but after i ran out of the room, all skeletons fell apart, so that i didn't have to beat them anymore. after the talk to Madeanus i saved and got down to the last skeleton conjurer boss (the other 2 skeleton lords and the gigantula where easy). and with the help of the spell "thorns" i beat him and then i got back to aleroth and there georg was dead, then i talked to madeanus again and saved after i dealed with him to get some health elexires. that's the save i have now

You will meet Seth shortly after you leave Aleroth.
When you are running around talking to the healers, don't ask Otho about George's murder, or his opinion of you will drop by 10 points (each time you ask).

Rach: What we mean is if you are level 4, Dont venture into the dungeons..you can go south of Georges house follow the path and you will see a gate..open the gate and you will meet Seth..then explore that area.

You should level up pretty quickly.

Oh yes..you are not supposed to be able to wield the weapons you get in the dungeons!!
