Well, thanks Raze. I bet he just didn't pay attention to the hints (he's ignorant like that in games <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ).
As for the CD problem, he had everthing but his anti-virus closed, so that might have been it. It was only with the install CD. Then agian... at one point it said the CD was damaged. Maybe it's partially damaged, or maybe the PC`s protection blocked it out a bit.
**shrug** Oh, and you're also right about the UBB code thing. I usually scroll down the screen with the wheel on my mouse; when you scroll with the wheel and your pointer is over one of those slide-down boxes, it tends to scroll through them instead. Well, I'll go check if everything is as you said.
