ok, let's say u've downloaded one of the themes called Autumn Brook. normally it's in zip file format so u may have to extract the content first then run the executables inside or u can just run the executables from within the zip file via a zip program such as Winzip.
normally u have two executables inside - one for the theme & another for the screensaver.
can u let me know what u have in the zip file? so i can help u better. if it asks u where to unzip or install those files (theme, not screensaver), please point to Windows -> Resource -> Theme. this is important as i know u are using WinXP & XP normally stores themes there. once the files are there, then what u can do to implement the themes is just to right-click on the desktop & go to Properties. u should be at Theme tab. just select the theme that u've just installed on the drop-down menu, click on Apply, OK & u'll see your desktop changes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/XmasJump.gif" alt="" />
