3D graphics are not as good as 2D graphics (it's my own opinion).

I was referring to the third screen shot, but I think the grass is greener on the other side (I mean the first screen shot).

Yeah, i liked the first one way more...Hmm.......nice green grass.....Now some nice bunnies hoppin around and some birds in the sky and i will get an orgasm....

This is a suggestion for DD too... GIVE US BUNNIES BIRDS AND SMALL (and bigger) WILDLIFE! That is one of the things that sucks reallllly hard about oblivion!

Obviously you can't be trusted around grass and bunnies ...

at a serious note, i really think that wildlife is a must for games. It makes the world look real, look like it lives. No birds, no small critters etc makes a world look dead. Oblivion looks dead to me. I like the game but the wordl is dead.

Divine Divinity sure had all of that. Birds, bees, rabbits, cats, mutated lizards.
Let's have them back!

but those critters take programming, art-designing... like would you be hapier if you saw a bunny hopping next to a fox, yet the fox only would attack you?

But actually, i too think that those little critters make the world more realistic (especially if you get xp for killing them )

No, why would a fox attack you? He/she'd just be scared.
The whole thing is just about having realistic nature to walk in. Morrowind was pretty good at that. Creatures were fantasy creatures, but they abounded, Oblivion has less of that.
(Not that I don't understand that the programmers would cut back on additional eye-candy like that. System requirments are soring as it is.)

Oblivion sucked hard at that. Wich ruins the realistic state of a world. Only a few animals and except for the deer all just atk you.

Do atleast some spritecreatures then. I dont care if you cannot attack little creatures. It hurts me more when they arent there...

Larian has not mentioned anything about a release date yet. There should be at least some information about the next game announced within the next 3 or 4 months.

Your English is fine.

I prefer 2D graphics, because if there are polygons involved, you can usually see the straight lines on round objects, or some bits on things seem flat, as a perfectionist I can't stand polygons unless they have a lot of depth and sleekness. The 3D graphics in BD were terrible in my opinion, while the 2D graphics of DD were simply perfect on the terrain.

I agree, rocks and random objects can't make up for that. I would actually like it if I could see birds flying in the sky on DD2, that would make the world more realistic.

You can see birds in Divine Divinity. (Though you probably mean in a the 3D game.)

Yeah, from time to time a small white bird crosses the screen.

If I remember correctly, there was a quest planned with an eagle. "Der Adler" was the name of an Attic boards and later Larian boards forum member. The name means "The Eagle".
The only trace of him in is the first forum anniversary wallpaper which lists all characters. There, he's still in, but Der Adler was seemingly later cut out of the game (we know how much pressure lasted on Larian to release the game - just take a look at the Wastelands).

If I remember correctly, someone said that a quest with this eagle should've been included into the Wastelands. But it wasn't to be, due to time & money constraints.

Always makes me sad hearing of how Larian got rushed at the end. They would have made the waste lands at least as full and diverse as the dark forest I bet.
