I remember seeing warnings on the other forum about not letting Ralph lock himself in his room or you break a crucial quest? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> I just encountered Ralph for the first time and can't find the old posts. What do I NOT do to trigger that??? I have and will save carefully, but I'd rather avoid going backwards...

You're warned not to enter his private room - if you do that, he rushes in there and locks himself up. So, respect his privacy, that's all.

Ralph got mad and locked the door to his private room, but he didn't lock himself inside. He was still out side his room and I was able to finish the quest.

With me a NPC went in his private room and he locked himself in it then <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />. I reloaded but I still think it's a bit unfair.

Thanks! I went in and he warned me, so I'll just stay out. Phew! Well, gotta go work the horses, so I guess I'll play more tonight. Sure wish my character could borrow one--she sure does a lot of walking! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Still working on the teleporters. In fact, she's hiking back there now...stopping occasionally to pound some critter in the ground. Seems to be wasp country right now. I don't suppose there's a huge can of Raid to be found anywhere? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Treasure is in Nericon's garden, if you've got the key <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />, the Elite Orc area in the East part of the Rivertown is good for looting. Chests are hidden everywhere, there's a nice one in the S area, needs a sapphire key or lockpick. there were the Beserk orcs are. No, I don't have a screenie for that, sorry.

I'm a bit puzzled about your footsore char. Why don't you place one pyramid next to the Ars Magicana teleporter: Shops and fast transport are nearby. So, if you're encumbered, just drop the 2nd tellie on the ground, teleport yourself back, sell, buy or rest (my transportable bed is there, too) and then teleport to the area you've left. This makes everything faster.
