I just completed the dragon armor quest, and somehow it changed all my resistances to some huge negative number, and as a result I die instantly whenever I get hit with magic. Is there any way I can get my resistances set back to where they should be? Unequiping my gear doesn't help, and I saved over my old save before I realized what had happened.

Installing the patch should automatically fix the resistances in your current game.

Thanks for the help! Actually, I used a HEX editor and followed the instructions from another post and it fixed it I've never used a HEX editor before, but it was actually kinda fun.

I will install the patch, I downloaded it already, but I like being able to add 500 charms to one item. Not sure if I want to let that go...

Using the charm pane bug, if you add enough charms to an item that the mouse-over description goes off-screen, it can cause the game to crash. A safer method of cheating would be to use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) and/or DAD's item editor.

You can also use the split stack exploit to duplicate restoration potions (unlimited healing almost makes your stats a non-issue, as long as you can do damage faster than your opponent can heal).
To get a lot more of stackable items, drag a stack out of (or into) your inventory (or container) and hold down the control key before dropping. This will bring up the split stack pane; type in a negative number and hit enter (the checkmark will be greyed out). This can also be done in the trade window.

If this is the first time you play Divine Divinity, I would not use that glitch. Making yourself so overpowered will suck a lot of fun out of the game.

But on the other side - when you get to the last chapter you normaly !are! extremely overpowered. As a worrier, for instance, you run through the enemy hordes completely ignoring your health, for it is almost impossible to get killed in this late part of game.
So what's the point in not-cheating? ^^
