Gwenny (my avatar) came back! We were watching TV last night. Litha was meowing about something. I figured he just wanted to go through the door he's not supposed to go through. After the show finished, I got up to check on him. He was sitting peacefully on the couch as always. Litha wasn't meowing. I went outside and called for Gwen. She started meowing again and came out from under my car. She found us!

What gets me is that she's only seen that car about three times in her life. She must have smelled Litha's or my scent. I'm glad to have her back.

I was happy today when I recieved good comments on a drawing I've done.

I'm not an artist, and I usually suck a drawing, but even I think it was decent (and I'm self critical <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ).

So I smiled. The comment that made me smile the most was :
"That's pretty disturbing".

My wife and good friend's hubby are both having their birthdays this weekend...ugh...its gonna be rough. (plus I have to take her out shopping this weekend cause she wants new clothes and I am not stupid <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" /> enough to buy them myself. well I tell you (and I am still grinning) My Boss was feeling particularly good cause he found an excellent waiter (as opposed to what I was able to employ)

The moon... full... bright... beautiful... lighting up the night...

Actually, I have a real explination. I love the night; I think the moon is cool; I like the dark; I'm afraid of the dark. Mix it all together: That.

Its dark outside, but its not exactly... the moon is there at its fullest and brightest, and its still night time. Its empty, quiet, peaceful, but not gloomy. Its almost out of a fairy tale, wouldn't you say? Its midnight, and you can see clearly. Its like you're in an enchanted place you might see in a movie (like an enchanted forest), where its night-time but there is a mystical-like blueish light that makes everything clear.

And that's what made me smile today. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Being back at work... my vacation really revived my spirit <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/XmasJump.gif" alt="" />

hmm ... when I go back to work it will mean "Valentines day" that means some 100 couples who all want a romantic table on the busiest night of the year (yeah no kidding we get busier on Val's then on NY eve) and preferably get all there meals on time and perfectly cooked somewhere between 7 & 8pm
