what made me happy.... interestingly enough also a puppy....

Scylla (a boerboel - for the non-afrikaans people... BIIIIIIGGGG watch dog) 2 months old....

started her training today..... first time ever....

and mastered the following:

sit
stay
come
wait (before she takes food)
and all of these she did flawlessly... not once did she disobey <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

what she DIDNT master:
heel (then again, it was her first time in a harness and choker)

but we will have that sorted out in the next week or so....

but she did in 1 day of training, what other dogs take 3 months to master....

so the trainer recons that we can go rigth through to agression training with her.... normally they wont put boerboels through agression training, for the pure fact that they are naturally too agressive, and wont let go of their "prey".... but scylla appears to be obedient enough, and eager enough to please us.... and since she will be at under 6 months when she starts her agression training.... she wont have that born in instinct to kill YET.... so we can master it before she becomes a killer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

All in all i feel like a proud mommy....

as soon as she is trained... we will start with the 2 shar-pei's (who currently think ears are something mommy scratches and thats their SOLE purpose). They will follow commands when they FEEL like it though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
