That might be the HUMAN effective refresh rate, but reality doesnt just cater for humans..... a fly can see frames up to 100 hz, a cameleon up to 300 hz... and i am sure that there are creatures that we havnt studied enough yet, that will see at much higher rates. but in any case.... lets drop it there.... you guys are not looking for a thesis on life....
