You have to go to the Elven Burial Grounds, follow the looting dwarves and ... well you'll see how it goes from there.

I think you've stolen the two objects that laid in the room of Josephine, right? The third object id carried by Josephina, so you must kill her. She will drop a "Fight-Stick" (sorry, I don't know the english name of that object, but it's like a branch..) If you have problems killing her, try to use the Skill deadly gift (the skill for laying traps) and use some scorpion traps..

A couple people have also reported that the staff Josephine usually drops can sometimes be in the locked chest at the back of the room.

If you defeated Josephine behind or near the ladder or dividing wall. try moving you mouse over that area slowly, since hitting the alt key might not show the description. Also, check your weapon inventory, to see if you already have it, but unidentified.

Strange. I don't think dropped items disappear after a while. Try pressing the alt-key. It will highlight items on the ground. Perhaps the item is in a dark spot, or behind a pillar or something.

Check your stash if you have a home base set up somewhere, as well as the merchants you usually sell excess loot to. If you can not find the staff anywhere, you can get a replacement;

Don't give up just yet! I doubt there's a Divine Divinity related problem Raze can't solve!

Double check that you are following the procedure correctly with the inv.* files after you download and unzip them. You should not be doing anything with the data.000 file.

Check your PM (click 'My Home' in the top menu bar, then 'Received Private Messages').

It's also possible that you sold the Elven Weapon. Because it's not idenified and don't looks very special either, so it's easy to lose it somewhere... Try to check out all merchants for a "very expensive branch-like fight stick"...

The latest version is 1.34. You can find the patch here. Go to 'download' to find the patch.

I have updated to the latest version (1.0034a), which would explain why my save crashes for you, and also most likely why it crashed when you tried the lost items procedure.

Install that patch and try the previous tips again. That should finally solve the problem.
