Step one: Find a barcode font that matches the pic.

All the barcode says is VERBOND-DECODED. I tried inverting it (black/white) and it's not a valid barcode.

If a combination of several lines corresponds with a letter ... I don't know.

We create barcodes for our computers that we sell.... it helps for warantee purposes...

That "barcode" is not a legal barcode... they took a "EAN(13)" style barcode (that used to read 762535657412 - probably a shop price code" and edited the letters to say Verbond Decoded...

When I wrote this, I compared it to the 39 Code barcode. The bars say VERBOND-DECODED.

I once heard about two types of barcodes : European ones and American ones. I don't remember what it was about, I only vaguely remember one of both being shorter than the other one, thus giving one of both continents a slight antvantage over something regarding commerce.

Bizare. I did the same thing and overlayed it over Bean's picture. It matched perfectly.

which programs do you use to create barcodes????

cause with all the ones i have, the longer lines in bean's barcode is only typical of EAN and JAN barcodes, and both of those, only accept numerics... the only barcodes that accept letters is the code 39, and code 128 and there are no longer lines in them....

I just used a free barcode font, not a program. The length probably is different.
