I guess. had 3 teeth pulled today, so my mouth hurts.

Thoughout my life, I've had a total of 10 pulled. They're just too big for my jaw, so they had to make room. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
For 4 of them, I was actually concious (they just slightly numbed the gums with some crud). If you went through this procedure, then I feel your pain. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
You know how parents will tell their kids that if they get a cavity, the dentist will pull out their tooth with a wrentch (or some variation of that)? Well, its not too far from the truth. They stick in a tool very similar to a wrentch,
*wiggle wiggle pull*, then pull again if it doesn't come out on the first try. Deeee-lightful. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" />
For the other six, I was mercifully put to sleep with laughing gas (which aparently doesn't actually make you laugh much; I guess you get a little more giggily, but...). Unfortunately, waking up to the hellish aftermath is crazy. Having six holes in your gums, that hurt like hell, that are bleeding like nuts, that are sown together with annoying strings which you can't play with or they'll have to replace them and you might bleed more, and having a 'goss' pad in your mouth the whole time that tastes of blood and traquilizer... etc. Ooo! And not to mention the fact that you're still drugged up from the IV and laughing gas, so you want to sleep but the pain keeps you awake.
