hi,this is my first post and i'm happy to find others that have played this game.just like a few other "open ended" rpgs my first run in D.D. is as a sociopath.my current reputation is -75,i've killed jorum,otho,the whole merchant's square shops included the whole town up north,alix's fort and the army barraks(troops included) as well as over 300 human soldiers and the entire poor sector as well.my starting basement of jorum's house is filled with chest i've lifted from everywhere including ones i can't open.my floors are laced with rubies and emeralds,hahah.
now if i can only get those chest open.

my next round of play will be as a saint.

so how bad is your rep?

um... Just out of curiosity, are you planning on completing the game?

With Joram and Otho dead, I don't think you can complete the lizard council member quest (unless you killed them after that point). You need information from one of them to complete the quest. There might be a possible work around, though;

IIRC if you get to -100 reputation, you can no longer talk to NPCs. Even when not in combat mode, you automatically attack anyone you click on.

i'm actually going to start over tonight i'm at level 22 now and the fact that i can't get out of the stronghold castle is near maddening.i spent 4 hours looking for that cat until i decided to just toss my teleport stone on the castle wall,collect my 30,000 exp from the duke and just leave via stone,i just can't pick it up because that imp will just stone me and steal it.but like i said the chaos fun is over and now i'm going to restart the game.i just get sooooo addicted to the "kill anyone" games.

Did you use your teleporter stones to get into the castle before having an invitation, and talk to Janus? If so, that is a known game breaker; the cat will not show up in the hall near the kitchen if you get the quest before officially entering the castle. There is no way around this except re-loading a save before going into the castle the first time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
On the plus side, now you can kill whoever you want, without regard for consequences. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Game teaches you to behave? LOL Maybe there's an advantage to being nice. Level 14, +4, I believe, right now.

kill kill kill is not always the best path to follow.
lvl 26 with 22 rep.
