Then how come pretty much the only thinkg you did in chapter one was kill stuff? I don't recall a single quest that didn't involve killing something.
That's because chapter one is the most linear one and a bit uninspired. For me the game really began once you left Neverwinter. Once you were outside the city you could really start to explore the big world out there and the quests became much more varied. You could compare it to Divine Divinity: first you have to plough through that big dungeon beneath Aleroth which can be somewhat of a turn-down, but once you leave the town the game really picks up.
The bottom line is that if you can find this Platinum Pack for a reasonable price you buy countless hours of fun time RPG. I say do it. You won't regret it.
