I don't enjoy fighting that much. Sure, it can be fun to alternate all the talking with some hacking and slashing once in a while, but when pretty much everything you do is hacking and slashing then it gets kind of boring. Arcanum varied good. So did Fallout 1&2. And Ps:T really pulled that off.
Needless to say I don't think NWN did though, right? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I don't remember those "DANG! how am I gonna get past this?" moments from NWN1. I just remember the fighting getting there. I might be misleading, since I don't recall that much from this game. But there wasn't that much talking really. As an example we can take the Brothel of Slating Intellectual Lusts from Ps:T. It was one house, and there was like nine quests in there. And IIRC not a single one of them involved fighting (possiblly one or two quests did involve fighting, but that was just one fight per quests and there were five or six steps per quest)! I don't really recall one single bigger NWN quest (from the first act and from the early second act) that didn't involve fighting.
